Michael Ross (right), our number one male from Oamaru, was giving his all during the Air NZ Southern Cup FIS Giant Slalom Race held at Coronet Peak. There was some hot lycra to be photographed and I captured it all. It is too bad the papers don't rate our World Cup ranked athletes.

Wicked to see the international action burning around our wee ski hills! It is the build up for the 2006 Winter Olympics so "go fast or go home" for the USA team.

Hanging on set with the man who makes the competitors quiver! This is Tom Williams, who is the front man on the Australian series "The Mole". It was a delight to meet and photograph him for the media. With us is Phillip Koch, celebrity writer from the Sunday Telegraph and Elizabeth from the publicity department of Channel Seven.

I love my clients having a ball in their pictures... and Tom was such a good sport leaping around the top of Deer Park Heights early in the morning. It was still dark when Annie and I collected him....thank goodness for coffee.

It is the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards and Clothing Designer, Annah Stretton, is a category winner. I had a blast meeting Annah at her Morrinsville factory and hub. Like a kid in a lollie shop, Annah's flair for colour and texture got my creative juices flowing. Good luck on your up and coming awards and for your entry in WOW this weekend.

Many thanks to all who supported the Duck Race in Queenstown. It makes such a difference to our charity, we all have such a fun time...painting our ducks, dressing our ducks and doing things to make them go faster. If you missed it in 2005, we will be bigger and better in 2006, so get in behind the Duck Race July 06.

A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest. A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself.
A simple friend has never seen you cry. A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.
A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names. A real friend has their phone numbers in his address book.
A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your party. A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean.
A simple friend hates it when you call after he has gone to bed. A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.
