Summer

Potty Humour
You may have received this image on your spam or seen it in an interesting mag! It seems there is no end of laughter over the images I have taken for the new Queenstown Sofitel Men's Toilets....causing all to go and have a tinkle for a giggle.

Feel the fear!
NZone "The Ultimate Jump" gave me the thrill of a lifetime..........to be thrown out of a perfectly good plane at 12,000 feet is a profound experience. A must do......at least once in your life. I really didn't have too much time to think...JUST DO IT moment. Strap a spunky jump master (Krasimia was mine) on your back and get into it. Call NZone 0800Dropzone
We love the Golden story
Hamish Carter came to the Millennium, Queenstown to share great stories during the Halberg luncheon. Very cute, inspiring and funny Hamish told us about training and competing for that GOLD medal. Makes you so proud to be a Kiwi. You rock Hamish!

Berts Flying Machine
If you haven’t seen "The Worlds Fastest Indian" grab your buddy and run to the nearest theatre....it is fantastic. Stunning acting by Anthony Hopkins...he reminded me of my dear old Grandad. Determined but loving and always interested in the young. Anthony plays Bert the "unstoppable speed demon" so beautifully with the innocence of coming from down under. It’s got something for everyone.....go see it now.
ArtistsRUs
It was a delight to attend the red carpet affair of the opening night of "The Worlds Fastest Indian" at Dorothy Browns in Arrowtown. I shared the evening with the very talented Grahame Sydney and Deidre Copeland.

Little Feet Rocks in Arrowtown
Jordan Luck & The Exponents came to the Arrowtown School Little Feet Gala Auction. Frith O'Hagen & Julian Grimonnd along with 120 others enjoyed a fantastic generous spirited evening.Proceeds going to build an outdoors purist playground for the community. Yummy bottles of Pinot Noir made by Jeff Sinnott (winemaker at Amisfield) and the little feet children who picked/ stomped the grapes & hand made the labels. More info and the silent auction go to www.littlefeet.co.nz
And the Winner is....
George 'Villa Maria' Fistonich won Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Cheers to you George. You certainly have got what it takes. I enjoyed every minute wandering around your awesome winery. A super operation with happy staff.

Melbourne Cup Madness at Moonlight
Top;Many thanks to the lovely Jane Kiely(R) for her winning bid to secure the darling 50's Lilly Dress made by Julz at Number 9 and modeled by Fran Peragelli from Ican Model Agency. Below is the Outthere Clothing Co. sisters Lyn Currie (L) and Jan Kinnaird, who had their first experience of the Melbourne Cup Queenstown style.
CHRISTMAS is six weeks away....
Gosh where has 2005 raced too....hold on to your hats as we will be all celebrating a Wonderful Christmas in less that two months. Have you booked your family photographic sittings? Great for presents and a lifetime of memories too. Thanks to the Cafe family in Queenstown for letting me take their Christmas Card images. Good luck to Tim Cafe on your ski racing over summer.

HOT TIP
When photographing children get down to their level. It gives a better perspective on the image. Be prepared to be patient as the moment you want to take their photo may be the moment they want to do their own thing....just wait quietly and be ready. It is good to let children be themselves. Here is Charlie-Rain with sister Sophie and my Pinot, hanging out in Arrowtown.

"I must not fear, fear is the mind killer....I will face my fear...where the fear has gone there will be nothing...only I will remain" extract from Frank Herbert. AUCKLAND DATES 10TH -15TH NOVEMBER.
