Wicked - we did it. Here I am on the last day of the men’s slalom with one of our athletes Anthony Field, Coach Jane Stevens and Chef de Mission Gerald Davies, all happy to have survived the 10 days of intense action in Italy. Well done Team New Zealand you did us proud.

I don’t think so ...... not one to follow instructions, the "slow" sign on Sestriere in Turino was only a suggestion I am sure. I will have a Sheena Slide Show of Paralympic action in Arrowtown 25th May 8pm at the "Den" dorothy browns (free for all to view) then at 9pm a screening of Murder Ball $15 per person. Auckland slideshow mid June. The Paralympics are heartfelt and inspiring. If you would like me to show it to your work colleagues or club please call me to arrange a time.

Well it was nice to bump into Tomba la Bomba on the snow in Italy, it has been a few years. I have very stong memories of him in Calgary, Canada 1988....gosh what an old duck I am!

Seasons are such a treasure. While hiking up Tobins track recently I noticed these last leaves....hanging in. We have snow dusting the hill tops and winter is on the way. Woohoo... dust off those snow toys.I have just made an upgrade in my digital photographic equipment, purchasing the latest Nikon camera. It has more memory, more grunt….making even more stunning images to share. While in Italy I had a play with the technology, it was a must have. I love it!

Stand by Queenstown and then New Zealand.....a wonderful new business which deals with health and fitness is about to be launched. Lucky me has been involved with creating imagery for their PR and promotional use.....can't say too much more at this stage...wait and watch.

My partner Stephen Brent is now officially open, as a commercial and property law specialist. Steve hosted a wonderful Mad Hatters Tea Party. Alice and clients were wowed by a huge selection of tea complete with cucumber sandwiches, wee chocolate muffins and wee homemade afghans.
If you require any legal assistance give Steve a call 03 409 2006 or 027 248 5020 or email him on stephen@stephenbrent.co.nz.

It was a delight to share the Car Rally in Steve's "new" 1965 red and white mini. We were one of the youngest cars and the youngest folk in a remarkable fun day of getting lost and found all around the valley. Steve, Pinot (the puppy) dear friend Carole (from Auckland) and myself all bopped around to the beach boys while sporting our Hawaiian shirts and helium balloons.
