The lovely Ella (pictured right) was our Christmas angel for her mother's business, "The Flower Room". What fun we had creating the magic and delight of Christmas.
Thank you to Lynn Currie for the use of her lounge. May you all feel the spirit of Christmas whereever you may be...have children's delight be contagious, get giggly and love whatever your mother gives you!

Queenstown Rotary did themselves proud by gathering "pantry items" for
Happiness House to distribute to families who need extra support at this time of year. Pictured here is President Joan Kiernan (L) delivering to Nicki Smith from Happiness House.

Also dropping in for some Christmas cheer at the very new Craig Potton Gallery was Kevin Bond (" Bondy") from Kiwi Mortgage Market Queenstown. The Gallery is a wonderful space...overflowing with Craig's incrediable images from around New Zealand. Pop in and check it out at 18 Buckingham Street (the Bakery end of Arrowtown).

Here is the lovely Ella (seated with Pippi) helping to promote The Flower Room's Summer
blooms. The most delightful tea party I have ever seen! Mother Sarah is giving a tip on tea cup holding to daughter Ella. Just the cutest!

In fact red haired folks rock anywhere!! Just look at my buddies Poppy (4) and Tina (40 something)!!. Here's to the recessive gene that makes us stand out. A big thank you to our families who shared it with us. Whatever your point of difference is, embrace and celebrate it.

We have finally received resource consent from the Queenstown Lakes District Council to relocate our dear old Laurel Bank. In case you are not "in the loop", Steve and I have been working on owning this 1892 year old great rambling Villa. We intend to carefully lift her off her present site and take her down the road to our 2 ha in the sun. Check out www.laurelbank.co.nz for progress and history on the old dear. If you know anyone who would like to help us with restoration, support or have any history on her, let us know. Here is Phillipa, Tina and our Pinot celebrating a milestone
